Even with 6 players to be cut, this iteration of the United States women’s team should be ready to take on anyone, with a particular eye to the Belgium game, in which the Belgian Cats will be looking to impress on the international stage in front of their home fans.
The Star
In a team that oozes talent and includes legends such as Diana Taurasi, singling out an individual star is a tough ask, but Breanna Stewart, the current WNBA MVP, is probably the best baller on the planet now. With 2 WNBA championships and 2 EuroLeague titles in her cabinet, she’s one of the most successful players in the world of basketball.
The New York Liberty and Fenerbahce center will be looking to get back to the international stage and will be looking to dominate once again as Team USA get into gear for the Olympics.
