A place in the semi-finals is on the line as the 2024 Philippine Cup champions, Meralco Bolts, square off with Mongolia’s finest, the Khasin Khuleguud Broncos, in a high-stakes Quarter-Final clash at BCL Asia 2025.

The Bolts rebounded emphatically after a shaky start in Group B. Following a loss to Shabab Al Ahli in their opener, Meralco regrouped and stunned newly crowned B.LEAGUE champions Utsunomiya Brex behind standout performances from Glynn Watson and Chris Banchero, both putting on near-flawless offensive displays to lock in second place in a razor-tight group where all four teams finished 1–1.

The Broncos, meanwhile, delivered one of the group stage’s most positive surprises, steamrolling Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 84–67 in their opener. Their momentum nearly carried them past Group A winners Tabiat Basketball, falling just short in a 78–76 thriller. Jordy Tshimanga nearly stole it at the death, scoring five points in the final 30 seconds, but the clock ran out before the Mongolian champs could complete the comeback.
