A largely confirmed AEK roster waits debutant Ramat-Gan to BCL return
A team that took part in all nine BCL seasons against a debutant is what basketball fans can witness at the SUNEL Arena in Athens on Tuesday, when the BCL restarts for its ninth iteration.
AEK confirmed large parts of their roster including star Kuzminskas, who renewed his contract for a further year in the summer, while having picked up standout player Hunter Hale from rivals Promitheas Patras in the summer. Prentiss Hubb also joined from Trento, while CJ Brice moved from the states to complete the backcourt at Coach Sakota's disposal.
Maccabi Ramat-Gan are going to debut in the BCL, but their signing Drew Crawford will surely help them settle in the new competition - having starred with MHP RIESEN Ludwisgburg, Gaziantep, and Hapoel Holon. Crawford dropped 19 points during his last trip to Athens in March, when Holon ended AEK's hopes of going further in the BCL.
