Greece vs Czechia EuroBasket Qualifiers How To Watch

15 Feb 2024

  • Tipoff at 19:00 GMT on Friday, 23 February 2024.
  • Match to be played at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Pireas, Greece.
  • Vassilis Spanoulis' Greece reign starts from his Pireas home
  • Tomáš Satoranský and Czechia looking to spoil the party for Greece.
  • Group F matchup of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers between Greece and Czechia.

Vassilis Spanoulis' Greece will be getting a welcome worthy of a hero as the team starts their EuroBasket 2025 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, the very same arena the Greece head coach called home between 2010 and 2021, suiting up over 450 times for Olympiacos Piraeus. His #7 shirt hangs retired, the first-ever by Olympiacos, as the fans will no doubt take the chance to give their national team an extra boost with their legend at the wheel.

It won't be easy pickings though as a tough Czechia team led by Barcelona superstar Tomáš Satoranský will be travelling to the Peace and Friendship Stadium in the mood to spoil the fun. If the Greeks are able to manage Tomáš Satoranský;s creativity and playmaking with solid defense, they should be able to see off the visitors and kickstart the Vassilis Spanoulis era (as a coach) on a high.
