Andrzej Mazurczak’s offensive display helps King Szczecin secure their 2nd win over MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. More importantly, the team coached by Arkadiusz Miloszewski secured tiebreaker advantage over the visitors, now forced to win their home game against Group D leaders AEK BC to hope for play-ins.
King Szczecin did not slip up for the duration of the game, and was in the lead since Morris Udeze connected on the alley-up from Andrzej Mazurczak’s lob to make it 2-0 15 seconds into the game. For the remaining 39 minutes and 45 seconds, the Polish champions maintained the lead firmly in their hands.
King Szczecin dominated the backboard, out-rebounding MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg 50-35, and destroying the visitors in the paint, where the home side scored 42 points to Ludwisgburg’s 18.
