Andrzej Mazurczak’s offensive display helps King Szczecin secure their 2nd win over MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. More importantly, the team coached by Arkadiusz Miloszewski secured tiebreaker advantage over the visitors, now forced to win their home game against Group D leaders AEK BC to hope for play-ins. 

King Szczecin did not slip up for the duration of the game, and was in the lead since Morris Udeze connected on the alley-up from Andrzej Mazurczak’s lob to make it 2-0 15 seconds into the game. For the remaining 39 minutes and 45 seconds, the Polish champions maintained the lead firmly in their hands. 

King Szczecin dominated the backboard, out-rebounding MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg 50-35, and destroying the visitors in the paint, where the home side scored 42 points to Ludwisgburg’s 18. It took only 10 minutes for the home side to lead in double digits, when Michal Nowakowski nailed a turnaround jumper to make it 20-10. 

Andrzej Mazurczak, a standout for the Polish team, scored 19 points, added 5 rebounds and 6 assists offering a true offensive clinic at the Netto Arena. Morris Udeze added 18, and Zac Cuthbertson rounded his 10 points with 10 boards, completing his double double. 

On a tough night for Joshua King’s side, Yorman Polas scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Jayvon Graves sees his offensive streak interrupted with 10 points on 4/16 from the field.
