Tenerife's trip to Bursa did not go to plan as the Turkish side found their first joy against the Canarios behind Caleb Homesley's 26 points.
Kyle Guy's huge 34 points were not enough for the visitors to come back into the game, and Tofas' resilience paid off once again in Türkiye. The Turkish side's ability to punish Tenerife with 26 points (a BCL negative franchise record for the Spanish side) enabled them to build a cushion and win their first-ever game against Tenerife.
They will need more of that if they want to take the W on the road, as no one has been able to triumph on Tenerife's homecourt.
